This beautiful old stone barn is full of Perigordian charm with a mass of original old oak beams.
On the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen/diner leading to the lounge, a utility room and WC with basin. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and a bathroom (with bath, shower, WC and basin). The barn will comfortably accommodate 8 people, but up to ten is possible, depending on make-up of group. We can adapt to suit your exact needs and you'll be surprised what we can fix for you - we have extra double/single beds plus a good supply of bedding.
The lounge has a woodburner if required and a large flat-screened satellite TV receiving British programmes plus a variety of European channels, but you will probably be too busy sightseeing to watch the box all the time!
There is a Wifi connection if you wish to connect to the internet.
The ground floor is tiled throughout with hand-made terracotta tiles to keep it cool on those balmy summer days.
With a washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle & all cutlery, plates & tea towels, you should have all you need to self-cater; there's also a BBQ for alfresco. But with so many restaurants nearby that will feed you wonderfully for a few euro's, why bother cooking?
All of the bedrooms are oak floored, bright and decorated in the local perigordian style.
We supply items for very small children, so if you will require a cot or a high chair please let us know; these are supplied free of charge. All bed linen and towels are provided, although extra towels will be useful if you want to make good use of the pool.
The icing on the cake is that you have sole use of the pool in the secluded back garden.
